Creating Your Wedding Album
Where to start...
Hello! I am always excited to create albums! Of course, it wouldn't be like me to go about this without making sure you have some idea of what I'm doing and what you can do (if you want!) for the process. There are a couple options I've found to be the best for getting images picked out - but before that I want to give you my BIGGEST tip! This album is a high quality album and I highly recommend choosing the images you feel LOOK the best and would like to have displayed. I would recommend thinking, "would I hang this on my wall?" when choosing the images. You might be wondering WHY?! and it's because these albums are fairly large (10 x 10") and have high quality art/gallery grade paper and are cloth bound for the cover. I don't recommend putting images in just because you think they are funny or because you think everyone should be included.
The Choices:
All of these are equally common and I've had couples choose them all before! Below are a few examples of some albums! IF YOU DON'T WANT AN ALBUM YOU ARE ALSO WELCOME TO GET A FRAMED PRINTED PHOTO - quality print - fairly large size.
Please only choose one of these options, I know it can feel limited but that is so the images can be shown in the best way possible in each album.
1) Pick 30 of your favorites
This option is great for those that want specific photos included! You can choose 20 of your favorites and it gives me a great idea of what you want included for me to fill in the rest with what fits best and makes the album flow!
Please only choose 30 images. This may feel like a small amount but if too many are chosen it can be extremely difficult in the designing process to fit the images correctly or get the album to flow properly. If I find any gaps that I don't know how I want to fill I will happily ask you to choose an additional amount of photos for those sections.
To choose your favorites you can create a "favorites" folder in your gallery - I can view these and get all your images downloaded at once so I don't miss any of your favs!
2) Give me an idea
"I want my album to tell the story of the day"
"I want this to be a collection of our portraits"
"I would like to include ceremony and portraits of us"
Great when you know what you want but not the exact photos!
3) "Make me something!"
This is for the ones that are excited to have an album and just want something nice without choosing specifics! Perfect for the busy ones or the ones that don't want the stress of having to choose.
